A LIVELY craft fair took place in South Petherton this weekend.

There were 17 stalls with many different crafts and textiles at The David Hall on Saturday (November 6).

Thanks to a raffle and sales of refreshments, more than £500 was raised for The David Hall.

Rosemary Heard, organiser on behalf of the fundraising committee, said: "We hold this fair every year on the first Saturday in November and have done so for many years with the exception of last year due to Covid-19.

"People seem to have spent the lockdown being very creative and all were keen to show and sell their products.

"The morning buzzed with sellers and buyers getting together after so long apart and money readily changed hands. All stall holders were pleased with their results and enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

"Thanks to all who came and supported this fundraising event."
