A COFFEE morning for Breast Cancer Now raised more than £400 last Friday (October 22).
The event, in All Saints Church in Martock, included tea and coffee, alongside homemade cakes.
Organiser, Carol Ansell, said they chose to raise money for Breast Cancer Now as this is a charity 'close to her heart'.
"I was diagnosed with this disease three years ago," she said.
"Breast Cancer Now offer valuable treatment support during and after treatment.
"They are also involved in research and their aim is for everyone with breast cancer to not only live but live well.
"Thanks to everyone’s amazing generosity we raised £422.93."
