FOUR Somerset sheds were destroyed by fire yesterday (June 13).
At around 6.20pm, one fire engine from Chard was mobilised after receiving a call stating a gazebo was on fire.
After further calls, another fire crew from Ilminster was mobilised to the location, in Winsham, after it was stated to be an outbuilding on fire.
On arrival, crews confirmed there were smoke and flames, with one field shed measuring 5m by 3m containing machinery and logs, involved in the fire.
The shed was 95% damaged and the contents 85%.
A short time later at around 6.35pm, a call came in stating there was a bonfire out of control that had spread to trees and one fire engine from Taunton was sent to the location.
After further calls from the public and reports of a shed now involved, another fire engine from Taunton was sent to the scene in Glebe Lane, Thornfalcon.
A large shed measuring 4m by 8m and fencing was well alight. The shed was completely destroyed by fire along with two other sheds measuring 2m by 2m.
Both fires are believed to have been accidental.
