AS excitement around the start of the long awaited UEFA Euro 2020 tournament builds, official food delivery partner Just Eat has teamed up with Greggs to bring football and food together with Rolls for Goals – giving customers free sausage rolls for every match played on UK soil which sees a goal scored.

Throughout the tournament, fans can get their hands on a free sausage roll the day after the match on all Greggs orders over £5 placed on Just Eat, regardless of which team scores the goal.

The offer will be live the day after each match from June 13 until July 12 when a goal is scored during games played in the UK.

Former England goalkeeper and footballing legend David Seaman will be reprising his role as ‘safe-hands’, partnering with Just Eat and Greggs to announce the initiative and get football fans geared up for a summer of soccer and sausage rolls.

Seaman said: “Food and football go hand in hand in my household and there’s no better feeling than a post goal roll.

"It’s great to team up with Just Eat to offer fans an iconic Greggs sausage roll, giving them a true taste of the action.”

Matt Bushby, Just Eat UK marketing director, said: “Food is a massive part of football culture and after a year like no other, what better way to to deliver joy than by rewarding customers with free Greggs sausage rolls for every match in which a goal is scored.”

Hannah Squirrell, Greggs customer and marketing director, said: “Offering Greggs and Just Eat customers across the country the chance to celebrate Euro2020 goals with one of our iconic sausage rolls is a great way to celebrate the long awaited arrival of the Euros, and fans getting back together in stadiums, homes and pubs to enjoy the games.”
