A BRIDGWATER man who made an indecent image of a child has been given a community order.

Daniel Mark Cavaney, 36, of Fairfax Road, pleaded guilty to the charge at Taunton Magistrates' Court.

He was made the subject of a five-year sexual harm prevention order, which bans him from using any internet device without enabling its history display that is capable of accessing indecent images

Cavaney was fined £346, with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

A MAN has been jailed for visiting a flat in Williton in breach of a court order.

David John Rea, 36, of Hollis Way, Southwick, Wiltshire, was sent down for 12 weeks (concurrent) after being found guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Courts on each of two counts of breaching a non-molestation order.

Rea was also given four weeks (concurrent) and ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order by contacting a named person in Williton.

He was sentenced to a further eight weeks (consecutive) for breaching a suspended sentence imposed for excess alcohol.

A BRIDGWATER woman was given a community order with a £100 fine and told to pay £100 compensation after admitting attacking another woman.

Camilla Carmen Mason, 37, of Coleridge Road, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in the town on October 12 last year.

She also received a community order for committing an offence while subject to a previous community order imposed for assaulting an emergency worker and sending an indecent message.
