A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house in a Somerset town this morning (April 15).

Witness say the car “flew” out of a junction in Ditton Street, Ilminster at 9.15am.

“This was reported to us shortly before 9.30am and police, fire and ambulance services are currently in attendance,” said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.

It is believed the driver pulled himself out of the car and was offered first aid by witnesses.

Daisy, 18, said she felt “disorientated”.

Mr Allington added: “I’m just wondering where we’ll be living.”
