FIRE crews tackled a vehicle fire in Chard yesterday afternoon (March 30).
A fire engine from Chard attended the incident around 2.45pm and saw one vehicle was "well alight".
They believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
"Fire crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"Fire crews also used environmental protection equipment to mop up oil and diesel on the roadway.
"The cause of the fire is accidental."
