A PRIMARY school near Yeovil sent their children on a week's trip to France...by immersing them in French culture from the safety of the classroom.
Pupils at St Margaret's in Titinhull immersed learnt about many subjects such as The Tour de France and the French Revolution.
The took part in cooking lessons, reading stories and painting during the week.
Learning about The Tour de France, pupils rode bikes and scooters, and the person who did the most hours won a yellow jersey.
Tulisa, 10, won the challenge.
“I had great fun participating in this activity and was also thrilled to win the yellow jersey,” she said.
Headteacher, Hayley Robinson, said everyone had a great week.
“The staff were fantastic putting on such a great French Week, and the range of activities has been brilliant," she said.
“The Tour de France was great at inspiring the children to get out more, and it’s been fascinating watching them listening to French stories and learning about French history.”
