A young man is in "a serious condition" after being found injured at a home in a Somerset town.
Police are making enquiries to try to ascertain how he suffered his injuries.
The man, who is in his twenties, was found at an address in Manor Road, Yeovil.
Officers and an ambulance crew were called to the scene at about 8pm yesterday (Tuesday, March 2) by a witness who had found him.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The man, who is in his 20s, remains in hospital in a serious condition.
"It’s not clear how he came by his injuries and we continue to make enquiries in the area.
"We’re keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet come forward."
