SUSPECTED cannabis plants were discovered in the former NatWest building in Crewkerne, after the fire yesterday afternoon (February 22).
Avon and Somerset Police are now carrying out searches and a forensic investigation after the plants were discovered.
This is alongside Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service who are still trying to establish the cause of the blaze.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Investigations continue at the former NatWest bank premises in Market Street, Crewkerne, following a fire on Monday afternoon, 22 February.
"We’re carrying out searches and a forensic investigation after suspected cannabis plants were discovered being grown in the property.
