A FIRE broke out at a barn near Taunton at 9.53pm this evening (February 19).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue are tackling the blaze between Monkton Heathfield and Creech St Michael, near Taunton.
They have said this is a "large barn fire".
Three fire crews were on scene dealing with the blaze at around 11pm.
"Fire Control have received multiple calls reporting a barn on fire," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"Crews are on scene from Taunton, Bridgwater and Wellington dealing with this incident.
"This incident is ongoing."

However at 11.57pm, six fire engines were in attendance at the scene.
The additional fire engines have come from Wellington, Ilminster and Bridgwater. The incident support vehicle and a 4x4 from Yeovil are also on scene battling the blaze.
Avon and Somerset Police are also in attendance and there are some road closures in place.
