RE-OPENED: The A303 was closed overnight following a major collision
THE A303 between Ilminster and South Petherton has re-opened this morning (Monday) following a major incident.
The road was closed yesterday evening due to a serious collision involving "multiple vehicle".
Police, fire and ambulance personnel attended the crash between the A356 at South Petherton and the A358 at Ilminster at about 5.30pm.
Diversions were in place for all traffic and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
