Latest reported Covid deaths in Somerset
A FURTHER ten people with Covid-19 have died in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period.
It takes to 588 the total number of people with the coronavirus who have lost their lives in the county council area since the start of the pandemic.
The latest figures released this afternoon on behalf of the Government show five deaths in Somerset West and Taunton; three in Mendip; and two in South Somerset. There were no deaths in Sedgemoor in the latest daily reports.
The overall district Covid death totals now stand at 139 in South Somerset; 176 in Somerset West and Taunton; 133 in Sedgemoor; and 140 in Mendip.
