A CAR was destroyed by a fire on a lane in Somerset last night (January 31).
The vehicle was "well alight" on Trendle Lane, Stoney Stoke, Wincanton.
A fire engine from Wincanton was called to the incident at 8.52pm.
"On arrival crews confirmed that the vehicle was well alight," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"The car was 70 per cent destroyed by fire and crews dealt with the incident using one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus."
