Latest Covid-19 deaths in Somerset
A SOMERSET district is mourning the deaths of ten Covid-19 patients in a single day.
The people, who had tested positive for the virus within the past 28 days, all died from any cause in the Somerset West and Taunton district.
A further three people who had the coronavirus passed away in Sedgemoor, with two deaths recorded in South Somerset and one in Mendip.
The death toll in the county council area has now risen to 487 since the start of the pandemic, with 126 in South Somerset; 132 in SWT; 112 in Sedgemoor; and 117 in Mendip.
