THE Covid-19 infection rate has risen in three of Somerset's four districts.
In the latest daily figures, there was a total of 246 positive tests.
Of those, 74 were in South Somerset, where the total confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic has increased to 3,896.
Somerset West and Taunton had 66 new confirmed cases, taking its overall total to 4,456.
In Sedgemoor there were 57 positive tests for an overall total of 3,959;
Mendip recorded 49 new confirmed cases and sees its overall total rise to 2,542.
The overall number of positive tests in the county council area of Somerset since the start of the pandemic goes up to 14,853.
The seven-day rolling infection rates are South Somerset 248.9 cases per 100,000 people (up from 232.3 the previous day); SWT 407.4 (up from 381); Sedgemoor 320.7 (down from 330.4); and Mendip 277.7 (up from 271.4).
