POLICE have this weekend been called to "further reports" of anti-social behaviour in two villages near Taunton.
Officers are urging parents to try to convince their children to stick to the Covid-19 regulations during the current crisis.
But one person has come up with a 'three strikes' solution to convince parents to take control of their children.
Wellington Neighbourhood Policing team were alerted to incidents in the Cotford St Luke and Bishops Lydeard area.
A spokesperson said: "(We) are carrying out increased patrols and appeal to any residents who witness anti-social behaviour of any kind in these communities to assist us in tackling the issue by calling 101 or visiting the Avon and Somerset website via the following link www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/.../anti-social.../
"This will assist us greatly with our targeted patrols.
"Parents of youths who are leaving the house during the current Tier 4 national lockdown are urged to familiarise themselves with Covid-19 regulations and to do their upmost to ensure that their children #StaySafe and abide by the rules."
Richard Labanc believes it is up to the parents to keep their children out of trouble and has taken to social media to suggest a deterrent.
He has posted on Facebook: "Place the responsibility back onto parents.
"Kids caught doing ASB...First time..a warning to the parents...kids caught a 2nd time ASB....final written warning to the parents...kids caught after that.....£1,000 fine to parents."
