RESIDENTS are once again being urged to write to district planners to object to development plans for the historic Manor Farm site in Tatworth.
Country Village Homes, of Ashill, has submitted a planning application to South Somerset District Council to build four homes at Man-or Farm off Waterlake Road.
It comes just a few weeks after a previous application for six homes was withdrawn by the developers.
But now the Save Old Tatworth group is getting ready for another planning battle to prevent the buil-ders from moving in.
Cllr Ian Purdon claimed at Tat-worth and Forton Parish Council's meeting last week that although the number of homes had decreased, the actual size of the development had increased.
He later told the News: "I would ask all residents to write again to the district council with their objections about this latest plan.
"It would appear the developers have total disrespect for the heritage of our village and disregard for the views of residents."
The applicants believe however that this new development will meet earlier concerns and enhance the area.
