A CAR was deliberately set on fire in Yeovil in the early hours of this morning (November 25).
A fire crew from Yeovil attended the incident at 2.22am on St Georges Avenue.
The fire then spread to a second vehicle.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Fire Control received several 999 calls reporting a car on fire, so one fire engine from Yeovil was sent.
"On arrival crews confirmed this vehicle was well alight and had spread to a second car.
"Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. The first vehicle was 100 per cent damaged by fire and the second 50 per cent damaged by fire.
"The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate, so the Police were also in attendance."
