HIGH gusty winds and heavy showers are likely to cause disruption in South Somerset.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for wind in Chard, Ilminster and Yeovil.
Transport delays are likely, and bus and train services will be affected.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.
"Some short term loss of power and other services is possible due to the high winds and heavy rain.
"It is likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities affected by spray and/or large waves."
Somerset West and Taunton is on the edge of the weather warning, and so some towns in the area may also be affected by the bad weather.
