POLICE are appealing for two potential witnesses after a man was assaulted and items were stolen in a tattoo shop.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said three people were reported to have gone into The Devil's Den Tattoos shop in Middle Street, Yeovil, at around 4.35pm to 4.45pm last Friday (October 16).
A man was subsequently assaulted and jewellery and mobile phones taken.
The force spokesperson said officers are trying to track down two men who they hope can help with the investigation into the incident.
The spokesperson said: "CCTV enquiries were carried out and the footage showed two people who we believe may have witnessed what happened and could assist our investigation.
"We’re releasing a picture of them as we try to identify them."
A 34-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have since been released on bail.
