Motorcyclist dies after crash on old A303 near Ilminster
A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash in a village near Ilminster.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the old A303, near Whitelackington, last week.
The crash was on Friday, September 25, at around 1.45pm.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Police did attend a traffic collision on September 25 at approximately 1.45pm on New Road, Ilminster in which a male motorcyclist sadly died.
"The incident involved a collision between the motorcyclist and an agricultural vehicle.
"An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing."
South Western Ambulance Service also confirmed that they were called to the scene at 1.52pm.
