TRAFFIC: A general photo of cars on Taunton's Toneway
TRAFFIC on one of Taunton's key roads ground to a halt after reports of a crash with debris across the road.
Drivers faced delays along A358 Toneway, from the Wickes roundabout to beyond the M5 junction 25.
The epicentre of the congestion was the Hankridge roundabout.
One eye witness said: "The traffic along Hankridge is awful. I have been queueing for 20 minutes on my way to get my food shop.
"There was debris on the road and the roundabout is at a standstill. It is traffic chaos."
Traffic has now returned to normal.
