A POPULAR food festival returns today (September 26).
The Feast Festival will be at Castle Green in Taunton from 10am until 5pm.
“We’re excited to announce that the Feast Taunton food market will return,” organisers said.
“There will be lots of measures in place to ensure the safety of all stall holders and visitors.”
The precautions include hand sanitiser stations, fewer stallholders, people counters, extra staff and stewards and safety signs.
Visitors to the festival are asked to wear face coverings, keep their distance, be mindful of others when queuing and be patient with stallholders.
There will be more than 40 producers at the event providing South West delights from hot dogs to chutneys and cheese to gin.
Exhibitors include Winkle Picker (a seafood and oyster caravan), Chokoleti (homemade artisan chocolates), Surf n Turf kitchen (scotch eggs), Quantock Steamers (steamed sponge puddings), Incredible Brewing Co (experimental beers) and many more.
