THERE were seven new positive Covid-19 tests confirmed in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period - including three in one district.
Three new cases were confirmed in the Mendip district, two were confirmed in Sedgemoor and two were confirmed in South Somerset.
Somerset West & Taunton was the only district in the county council area to record no new confirmed cases of the virus up to 5pm yesterday.
The county total of confirmed Covid-19 cases now stands at 1,493.
The district totals are Mendip 191; Sedgemoor 434; Somerset West & Taunton 489; and South Somerset 379.
