Latest Covid-19 cases in Somerset
THERE were FIVE new confirmed Covid-19 cases in Somerset in the 24 hours to 5pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Three positive tests were recorded in Mendip, and one each in Sedgemoor and Somerset West & Taunton.
It takes the total of confirmed cases in the county council area to 1,442, 27 of which were recorded in the past three days.
The district totals now stand at Mendip 174; Sedgemoor 422; Somerset West & Taunton 475; and South Somerset 371.
