A VEHICLE on fire in a hedgerow prompted calls to the emergency services in the early hours of this morning (September 4).
A fire crew from Yeovil attended the incident, in High Street, Queen Camel, at just after 4am.
On arrival, the crew found the vehicle was 'well alight' and requested support, with a fire engine from Wincanton also sent to the scene, a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.
"Fire crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal image camera," the spokesperson added.
"The vehicle was 100% damaged by the fire."
