A TEENAGER suffered a broken jaw after being "kicked and punched" during an altercations at the weekend.
Police are appealing for information following the assault on the 15-year-old boy in Yeovil.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said he was "kicked and punched during an altercation between a large group of teenagers" in West Hendford.
He required hospital treatment following the attack on Saturday (August 29) at 7pm.
Four others suffered "minor injuries".
The spokesman said all of the involved parties were between 15 and 17 years of age.
He added: "We’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident."
