A BUSY bypass road was closed as dozens of firefighters tackled a massive lorry blaze.
Crews from six fire stations attended the hay lorry fire on the A303 Ilminster Bypass from around 3pm yesterday (Wednesday).
The clear up operation and work to repair the road carried on until earlier this morning.
But the road currently remains closed for safety reasons as the road surface is uneven, while diversions are in place.
