A FIRE which destroyed a vehicle was 'deliberate', according to firefighters.
Crews from Martock and Ilminster were sent to Water Street, in Seavington St Mary, at just before 6.30am this morning to reports of a vehicle fire.
"On arrival, the incident commander confirmed Martock fire appliance was not required at the incident," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"The incident commander confirmed one vehicle well alight. Two firefighters promptly got to work wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire using one hose reel jet.
"The vehicle was 100 per cent damaged by the fire.
"This was believed to be a deliberate ignition."
