BLACKBURN College student Timoteo Volante was celebrating after achieving two A*s and an A in his A-levels.
The 20-year-old studied Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, achieving an amazing A*, A* and A respectively.
Timoteo, who lives in Blackburn but is originally from the Philippines, chose to study his A-levels at Blackburn College after previously completing his GCSEs there.
In his GCSEs he achieved Physics 9, Chemistry 8, Maths 8, Biology 7 and English 5.
Timoteo said: “I’m so happy with my results – I have worked really hard and it’s nice to see it has paid off. I really enjoyed studying at Blackburn College.
“Studying at Blackburn College has really helped to improve my confidence and language skills and I am really looking forward to the future. I am thinking about doing either a degree in Physics or Engineering.
“The tutors here are really nice and supportive and I would definitely recommend studying here to other people."
