A THIRD man has been charged in connection with the murder of a Somerset man.
Dominic Palmer, 31, of Dunster Crescent, Weston-super-Mare, is accused of assisting an offender.
The charge is in connection with the death of Mikhail Hanid, 47, who was found with serious injuries in the town's Ridgeway Avenue in the early hours of Saturday, June 27.
Mr Hanid died in hospital from stab wounds three days later.
Palmer has been released on bail to attend North Somerset Magistrates' Court on September 8.
Two other men - Samuel Ford, 30, and Curtis Ford, 27, both of Baildon Road - have previously been charged with Mr Hanid’s.
They are currently in custody with a provisional trial date set for Monday, December 7.
A 28-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains released under investigation
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We’re continuing to review a suggestion since the initial charges were brought that it may have been a racially-motivated incident.
Because the case is going through the court system, we’re unable to go into further details at this stage for legal reasons."
