SOMERSET'S maintenance of many of its heritage features is disappointing.
The iconic willow man beside the M5 is in a parlous state, and today I have seen that the once-beautiful wicker bear in Ebbor Gorge is, sadly, decomposing.
Notable features of the county are being allowed to disintegrate, which doesn't say much for Somerset's sense of civic pride.
This includes some of our signature footpaths, which are often overgrown and neglected.
Come along, Somerset, I know it costs money, but surely we can present a better-maintained face to the world.
