THERE'S been another confirmed Covid-19 case in Somerset for the second consecutive day.
Figures released today (Saturday) by Public Health England show the new case in the South Somerset district in the 24-hour period to 5pm yesterday.
Over the same timescale, there were no coronavirus-related deaths in the area covered by Somerset County Council.
The latest case means there has been a total of 793 confirmed cases of Covid-19 detected in the county.
Of those, 65 have been in Mendip; 222 in Sedgemoor; 308 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 198 in South Somerset.
