A TOTAL of 12 new confirmed Covid-19 cases were recorded in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period.
There have now been a total of 757 confirmed cases in the area covered by the county council up to 5pm yesterday (Wednesday), according to Publilc Health England.
The figure is a drop on yesterday's 42 confirmed new cases, but still represents an increase on recent recorded figures.
There have been 289 cases in Somerset West and Taunton (up 7); 215 in Sedgemoor (an increase of 4);189 in South Somerset (no change); and 64 in Mendip (a rise of 1).
