A NURSE fighting for his life after contracting Covid-19 is "doing well", according to his daughter.
Rob Williams, who had himself been caring for coronavirus patients at Musgrove Park Hospital, is being looked after by colleagues.
He was at one stage put on a ventilator in the intensive care unit.
But his daughter took to Facebook this week to post: "Dad is off the ventilator and doing well at the moment.
"He's still in ICU, but everything is going in the right direction. 100 per cent super hero."
Kat told last week how her father, a fit man in his 50s, managed mild symptoms at home after testing positive.
But after his symptoms worsened, he was rushed to hospital, where he put on a ventilator.
Kat urged other people to take precautions, writing: "For the love of God stay in, protect your family and loved ones because I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
"Dad, please pull through we need you."
