AN additional confirmed case of Covid-19 was recorded in each of three of the four districts in Somerset in the latest Public Health England figures.
Mendip, Sedgemoor and South Somerset each recorded a new case of the virus in the 24 hours to 5pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Somerset for the latest 24-hour period stands at 626.
The district totals in the county are now 228 in the Somerset West and Taunton patch; 170 in South Somerset; 166 in Sedgemoor; and 62 in Mendip.
