Coronavirus death toll reaches 64 in Somerset
THE total number of people to have died in hospital in Somerset after contracting Covid-19 now stands at 64.
The latest reported death from the virus was in a hospital run by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
The trust was formed last month through the merger of Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, based at Musgrove Park Hospital, in Taunton.
It takes to 41 the total of deaths in the trust's care.
Three people have died in hospital in Weston-super-Mare and 20 have died in hospital in Yeovil.
