PUBLIC Health England has revealed the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in each district in Somerset.
The figures relate to the 24-hour period up to 5pm yesterday (Thursday).
A total of 218 have been logged in Somerset West and Taunton, an decrease of three on the previous day; 155 in Sedgemoor (no change); 155 (a decrease of three) in South Somerset; and 57 in Mendip (a decrease of one).
The total number of cases across the UK now stands at 226,463, while a total of Covid-19 related 33,186 deaths has been recorded in hospitals, care homes and the community.
The total number of cases in the four nations stand at 137,940 in England, 13,763 in Scotland; 11,573 in Wales; and 4,193 in Northern Ireland.
