Public toilets
MINEHEAD Town Council has issued clarification on the re-opening of the town's public toilets following the latest updated advice from the government.
Minehead Town Council's acting clerk Bryan Howe confirmed that from Wednesday, May 13, the council has agreed to open individual toilets, but not communal units.
This means that the Warren Road toilets opposite Butlins are open and free to use, as are two individual toilets in Blenheim Gardens.
In Summerland Car Park one disabled unisex toilet is open but the communal facilities are closed.
Meanwhile the public toilets in Quay West and the Irnham Road recreation ground will remain closed as they are both communal toilets.
The town council say members of the public must still conform to the government social distancing rules at all times when using the facilities.
