Crews called to chimney fire near Taunton
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a chimney fire near Taunton on Easter Sunday.
Crews from Taunton headed to the scene on Back Lane, Bradford-on-Tone at around 9pm.
On arrival, the crews assessed the situation and confirmed a fire within the chimney of an open fire place, and swiftly got to work to extinguish the blaze by emptying the grate and using specialist chimney gear and a hose reel jet.
They swiftly doused the flames and left care of duty with the occupier.
