TICKET holders are being asked to donate their ticket cost or consider rolling it over to another show to help a local arts charity.
Ilminster Arts Centre has announced a temporary closure in response to the ongoing Coronavirus public health situation.
The cafe is now closed and all concerts and workshops for the foreseeable future are cancelled.
A spokesperson for the Arts Centre said: “Ticket holders should contact the Arts Centre for a refund, but we are also asking, if they are in a position to do so, to consider rolling their ticket over to a future event, or to treat their ticket as a donation.
“As a small charity, with no external funding, this would be much appreciated.”
Ilminster Arts Centre, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, presents a unique programme of concerts, exhibitions, art and craft workshops throughout the year.
The spokesperson added: “With the support of the local community over the past quarter of a century, the centre has developed into a much loved community hub that celebrates and promotes enjoyment of the arts. We would like to thank all our supporters and look forward to welcoming them back in better times.”
