THEATRE closures are happening all around the UK, with many performances being cancelled, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The McMillan Theatre in Bridgwater are working hard to postpone as many shows as possible so you can still enjoy them later in the year, or early next year.

So far they have postponed 13 shows (without cancelling any of them) and so here are the ones you can still look forward to...

  • The Music of Led Zeppelin performed by Whole Lotta Led

This professional tribute band were due to perform last Friday (March 20), but have now postponed their performance until Friday, January 15 2021.

  • Dom Joly's Holiday Snaps

Creator of Trigger Happy TV, Dom Joly, was set to perform last Saturday (March 21), but will now be performing on Friday, September 4 2020.

  • John Culshaw: The Great British Take Off

Comedian, impressionist and star of Dead Ringers, Jon Culshaw was set to take to the stage this weekend on March 27, but will now be performing on December 4 2020.

  • Clive Anderson: Me, Macbeth & I

Host of Whose Line Is It Anyway, Clive Anderson, who was performing at The McMillan Theatre this Saturday (March 28), will be postponing his performing until Sunday, November 21 2020.

  • U.Dance 2020 South West Regional Platform

See these South West contenders perform not on March 29, but on May 24 2020.

  • Land of Hope & Glory

Neil Sands and his cast are bringing their popular patriotic matinee show, Land of Hope & Glory, to The McMillan Theatre on Thursday, July 30 instead of Thursday, April 2.

  • Lipstick on Your Collar

Enjoy hits from the 1950s and 60s on Friday, February 21 2021 instead of Friday, April 3 2020. This gives you plenty of time to get your dancing shoes ready.

  • Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Writers of Hormonal Housewives bring you this new musical comedy show, now at the McMillan Theatre on September 26 2020 instead of April 18.
