TAUNTON Fire Station has issued a photo of a milk tanker which ended up in a ditch at the side of the road.
Firefighters from the county town were called to the incident at Mounters Hill, Wambrook, Chard, at 10.41pm on Wednesday.
The driver had managed to get out of the vehicle, which was losing milk from the rear.
Firefighters stemmed the flow with Dammit putty, limiting the loss to around 30 litres.
A spokesman said there was "no significant risk" of milk entering the water course or drains.
Another lorry was used to decant the rest of the milk from the tanker.
