MORE than 30 litres of milk was spilt into a ditch after a milk tanker crashed near Chard.
Firefighters from Chard were called at 10.41pm on Wednesday (March 18) to Mounters Hill, Wambrook to reports of a crash involving a milk tanker.
When crews arrived at the scene they confirmed that the milk tanker was loosing milk from the rear of the vehicle.
All people were free and clear of the vehicle.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Crews stemmed the flow of milk from the vehicle using Dammit putty.
"Crews confirmed approximately 30 litres of milk contained within a ditch with no significant risk of entering water course or drains.
"Another lorry was used to decant the remainder of the milk."
