AN EXTRAORDINARY meeting of Chard Town Council is set to be held this week as they look to adopt a Pandemic Contigency Plan.
The meeting will be held tomorrow (Friday, March 20) starting at 6pm.
It will eb held in the auditorium of Chard's Guildhall, in Fore Street.
The meeting is open to the public.
An agenda, which is available in full on the Chard Town Council website, said that votes will be held on whether to adopt a 'pandemic contigency plan' and 'pandemic contigency guidance'.
A vote will also be taken on whether to agree support for the Coronavirus Covid-19 Support Group, which was set up in the town earlier this week.
