A PAIR of peregrine falcons have been making themselves at home on top of a church tower in Taunton.
They have been captured by a webcam tucking into prey that one of them had caught.
They are currently living on top of St Mary Magdalene Church.
A nesting box was set up on the top of the building a couple of years ago as part of a successful project to increase the at-risk peregrine population in this country.
A pair of peregrines mated last year with the result three chicks were born.
One of the young was unfortunately found dead 2,435km away in Morocco last November. It was a road casualty.
It was the first time a peregrine falcon had been recorded flying from Britain to Morocco.
