POLICE trying to track down the person who killed three deer have issued more information.
The bodies of the animals were found on the side of the road near Crowcombe near to the main car park at Crowcombe Park.
It is believed the deer would have been killed by poachers on Monday or Tuesday (February 17 and 18) this week.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The area is used a lot by dog walkers and people walking to Seven Sisters.
"We are appealing for witnesses who might have been in the area at the time.
"It’s likely that a vehicle would have been parked up at the side of the road, so any vehicles travelling along that road with a dashcam would potentially have captured footage of it."
Wildlife officer PC Pete Wills is investigating the incident - anyone who can help should should contact police on 101.
