CELEBRATING its 25th year, Ilminster Arts Centre is holding an exhibition by some of the artists who have exhibited there, and who have contributed to the success and reputation of the centre.
By Invitation runs from March 2 until 21, and will feature work by a host of well-known local artists including Jenny Barron, Leo Davey, Diane Burnell, John Payne, and Linda Hampson.
Showcasing a wide range of mediums and styles, the show reflects the high standards of artistic endeavour that the arts centre has encouraged and promoted over the last twenty five years.
Since being founded in 1995 by Mary Atherton, the centre has gone from strength to strength. The visual arts have always been central to activities, and By Invitation celebrates this heritage, started by Mary twenty five years ago.
