THREE young entrepreneurs are asking for help from their community to help them test their new invention which could help millions of people with arthritis.

Sam Bains, Sam Davey, Harry Brafield, all 14, who are students at The King Alfred School Academy in Highbridge, have entered a Dragons’ Den competition and are set to compete against schools from across the country.

The talented trio have invented an aid to help arthritis sufferers and if they are successful their invention could be on the market in stores across the country.

It is the first time the academy has entered the Dragon’s Den contest which will be held at Weston-super-Mare’s Winter Gardens in March.

To help them be successful, the group are looking for people suffering from arthritis and family and friends to help them to research and test their invention.

The trio said they would also like to hear from any businesses who would like to sponsor t-shirts for them ahead of the competition later this year.

Stacey Leatherby, careers advisor at The King Alfred School Academy said she has high hopes the students will be successful and urged anyone in the community to give up their time to help.

“Their invention is truly terrific and we are excited to see it unveiled during the competition,” Stacey said.

“We are looking for people to help in their testing, research and preparation.”
